That Xmen cover was awesome! What happen to the Ultimate verse in Marvel! There was so much hubbub when it came out but I haven’t seen the comics, especially Uktimate X around anymore. I guess even if the experiment faded we got Miles Morales out of it so it wasn’t all buried. I love Miles and Into the Spiderverse too. Xmen lately has been kind of hit and miss with me. I loved Jim Lee’s style back in the day, still do. I tried to imitate him too but with far far less success.
I haven't read X-Men in a long while, except for a handful of Excalibur as i was doing a few cover for Tini Howard on Sword of X. The X-men where my gateway to mainstream comics as a kid (from Byrne and on), but i lost track shortly after Jim lee left. and then sporadically when i was actually drawing the books, A ultimate run, Civil War X-Men, a Uncanny and a X-Men Legacy. Bunch of Wolverine
