I’ve mentioned on FB that i’m starting a new interconnected set of covers for DC.
AS some of you already know I’m drawing the alternate covers for Geoff Jones new JSA series and I’ve figure it’s time to torture my PC Ram memory again with a new megacover.
This not my first, here’s a 4 parts Ultimate X-Men from 2001, with my brothers Serge Lapointe on Inks and Stephane Peru on colors
And this 7 parts Justice League rebirth (2016), inked by me, color by Nathan Fairbairn
More recently a Briar 4 parts with colors by Matt Lopez . I don’t think this is the final FINAL version. Not ever sure if it’s been shown yet, But HEY, that the kind of goodies you’ll get for being a Yanick’s Art News subscriber.
My Brother in arm at DC, the half Ninja/Half Editor Andrew Merino, in charge of JSA, is ready for us to reach for the stars and green lighted a new JSA 7 part Mega Cover. I’ll do my best to share the progress without spoiling anything of Geoff plans.
To be continued…..
That Xmen cover was awesome! What happen to the Ultimate verse in Marvel! There was so much hubbub when it came out but I haven’t seen the comics, especially Uktimate X around anymore. I guess even if the experiment faded we got Miles Morales out of it so it wasn’t all buried. I love Miles and Into the Spiderverse too. Xmen lately has been kind of hit and miss with me. I loved Jim Lee’s style back in the day, still do. I tried to imitate him too but with far far less success.
Cool work.
