Chiaroscuro
A little impromptu period
Look like i Just had a little chiaroscuro period, or Clair-Obscure in French.
Chiaroscuro style, in a nut shell, play with the dark and light values to create mood and space. Guys like Rembrandt or Goya where master at it amongst countless others.
ANYWAY, for some mysterious reasons, earlier this years, for about 3 weeks, everything I could think up drawing was kinda Chiaroscuro-esque. No idea why. Here:

For me when this started, it coincided with my own art studies and it led down that rabbit hole of notan and I found not only Caravaggio but also Artemisia Gentileschi
